Out of Kuwait at Edge of Arabia

In partnership with the British Council, the Royal College of Art, Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives, the Crossway Foundation, the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, and Contemporary Art Platform, London’s Edge of Arabia gallery will present in November 2013 the UK debut of 14 emerging artists from Kuwait, in a show entitled Out of Kuwait.

The artists all work in direct response to living in Kuwait and their work explores the national landscape in its broadest and most expansive sense. Through a wide variety of means, these artists excavate Kuwait’s social, economic and cultural identity, along with their own interpersonal relationship to Kuwait’s very particular history.

Edge of Arabia, 40 Elcho Street, London SW11 4AU. Open Tuesday – Saturday | 10am – 6pm.
