Jameel Prize 2013 goes to Turkish fashion designers

The third biannual Jameel Prize has gone to Turkish fashion designer Dice Kayek, a label established in Paris in 1992 by sisters Ece and Ayse Ege. The GBP 25,000 Jameel Prize 3 went to the sisters, native of Bursa, for Istanbul Contrast, a collection of garments that evoke Istanbul’s architectural and artistic heritage.
